Is the AI making up my prices?+
No. Quantities come from deterministic takeoff formulas, and prices come from your own rate book. The AI writes the scope and structure of the estimate; every number is yours to review, edit and approve before a client sees it. It is a first draft written by a fast assistant, not an oracle.
Does it work outside the United States?+
Yes. The app works in imperial or metric and in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Outside the US you build your own rate book rather than starting from our seeded regional rates.
What exactly does “lifetime” mean?+
One payment of $1,490 for access for as long as the product exists, including future updates. It covers normal working use by your business — it is not a reseller licence and does not cover automated bulk use. There is no renewal and no monthly bill after it.

How long until my first estimate?+
Most people produce one in the first sitting. You do not have to load your whole price book to start — put in your labour rate and the three materials you use most, and refine it as you quote.
What if my team needs access?+
Invite them with the access each role should have. A field crew sees tasks, photos and safety; a project manager sees schedule and budget; only you see margins and client money. Nobody sees what their role should not.
What happens to my data?+
It is yours. Each account is isolated at the database level, you can export or delete it at any time, and we never sell it or share your estimates and clients with advertisers.
Is AI use unlimited?+
No, and no plan ever will be — same as ChatGPT or Claude. While the app is free every account gets the same daily allowance: 10 AI estimates, 5 plan reads, 2 double-checks and 5 detection runs. Every AI request costs real money to run, and a published ceiling is what lets this be free at all instead of one heavy account deciding whether it stays free for everyone. Counters reset at midnight UTC and you can see where you stand in Settings > Billing.
Are there ads?+
Yes — Google ads on the dashboard and estimate list only, never on a client's details, a proposal or a document. They are how a free launch pays for itself. An Ambassador seat is ad-free for life, and so is every paid plan once they exist.
